I love the concept of your book. And it looks really great too. ^_^ The layers especially are cool.

Thank you ^_^ I had fun thinking of how to represent each identity! Personally, I love the reverse painting technique used on the transparency layer...if only it wasn't so tedious!!

I just love how you painted yourself. I'm sorry but you look positively frightening! Like "FEAR THE ARTIST!"

Cool!
Yes! Fear the pretentious artist! I felt like a total goofball posing in front of the camera like that :P

I actually love painting that way. I should do it more often, make up a base picture and then paint backwards. It's really fun...but sooo tedious.

OMG I don't know why, but I really love this one! Well, of course I know why: the colors, the brush strokes, the background, the expression, and everything else are amazing!

While watching animals being loaded into a gas chamber at an animal shelter, we’re asked, “Can we keep animals as companions and still address their needs? Is our keeping companion animals in their best interest, or are we exploiting them?”
I'm so glad you like it! It was a tedious page to make, but I'm also pleased with how it came out. It looks a little funny when you turn the painted part over, though - it looks smooth on the front, but it's all gloppy on the back!! Such are the drawbacks of that technique, I suppose. Thank you for another lovely comment :)
