Chibi Kasumi

This is the first piece I completed in Photoshop Elements once I installed it on my home computer back in February 2002. It's Kasumi, or Misty, from Pokemon in chibi form. I did the line-art in Microsoft Paint, then pulled it into Elements and burned/dodged 'til I was content. It even has a cheaply filtered background with a gradient!

This is clearly not my best work. But it, along with the piece entitled "Winter Magic", are in this gallery to give a glimpse of how far I have come, and to show that not everyone starts out amazing.
